Last week, I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the Lion and Swan and what a stunning venue it is! Nestled in the heart of Congleton it offers the perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding ceremony, a gorgeous, intimate space with beautiful décor, and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately made me smile.
I was shown around by the wonderful Liam Barnes, the venue’s wedding coordinator, who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. From the moment I arrived, his friendly approach and attention to detail made it clear why couples love working with him. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but having someone like Liam on your team makes the whole process a joy.
I’ll be officiating here in December for a very special couple. They will be legally marrying abroad before coming home to celebrate with family and friends who couldn’t attend the first ceremony. I love that more and more couples are embracing this idea – it’s the perfect way to combine a dream destination wedding with a meaningful celebration back home.
