Planning a wedding is such an exciting journey, and one of the best ways to find inspiration is by visiting wedding fairs in the North West. They’re the perfect opportunity for newly engaged couples to explore venues, meet suppliers face-to-face, and gather fresh ideas for their big day. Recently, I had the pleasure of attending the wedding open days at Rainhill Hall and Lion and Swan in Congleton, where I met so many wonderful couples who are planning their celebrations for 2026 and 2027.
One of my favourite parts of being a celebrant is attending wedding fairs and open days. They’re always full of energy, excitement, and happy couples planning their special day – and the recent ones at Rainhill Hall and Lion and Swan were no exception.
Rainhill Hall Wedding Open Day
Rainhill Hall is such a beautiful venue, and the open day was a perfect chance to meet lots of lovely couples. It’s always wonderful to chat about their ideas for ceremonies, whether that’s a romantic wedding, a joyful vow renewal, or a unique symbolic ritual. Wedding fairs like this really give couples the opportunity to explore how they want their day to look and feel, and to connect with suppliers who can bring their vision to life.
Lion and Swan Wedding Open Day
The wedding fair at Lion and Swan was equally special. The team there created such a welcoming atmosphere, and it was a pleasure to talk with couples who are getting married in both 2026 and 2027. I’m delighted to share that I had a booking from a wonderful couple, T & E, who are tying the knot in September 2026 at Lion and Swan. It’s always exciting to see how people light up when talking about their plans, it’s one of the reasons I love attending wedding fairs so much.
Connecting with Couples
Alongside the confirmed booking, I also set up lots of no-obligation discovery calls with couples who want to chat more about their wedding vision. These calls are such a great way for us to get to know each other, make sure we’re a good fit, and start shaping a ceremony that feels personal, meaningful, and totally unique.
Why I Love Wedding Fairs
For me, the best part of wedding fairs is the atmosphere. There’s a real buzz in the air as couples walk around with so much excitement about the future. It’s inspiring to be surrounded by that joy, and I always leave full of fresh ideas and enthusiasm for the ceremonies ahead.
✨ If you’re recently engaged and thinking of attending a wedding fair, I highly recommend it. They’re a brilliant way to gather inspiration, meet suppliers face-to-face, and feel even more excited about your wedding journey. And if you’d like to chat about your ceremony plans, I’d love to set up a discovery call with you!
